entrapment is not about being tricked. entrapment,as defined by law is someone getting you to do something you would not normally do by means of bribes or threats,then turning you in after you do it. the loophole is that you dont fall under "entrapment" if they get you to do something you would do anyway. isnt that cute legal maneuvering?

it may not be illegal for a cop or someone working with cops to pretend to be a minor to catch a pedo,but it is certainly unethical and a violation of your rights as well as a violation of a cops civic duties. cops are not hired/appointed to bait people into criminal activities,which is exactly what they are doing. they also condone vigilante activities with groups like PJ. it just goes to show that you only have rights in the USA as long as you are not a group feared or hated by the citizens. kinda defeats the purpose of everyone having "equal rights under the law." and since the citizens are being told by public service announcements and other agencies(using the media,no less)that we are all a danger to children,that makes the government directly responsible for any negative outcomes,including public panic,and ignorance of the facts. its not any different than the way any other groups has been treated in history,from the Jews to the Gays. you are only protected by their precious laws as long as you are part of one of the "accepted" groups. its like highschool all over again,only this time people dont just get picked on and beat up...they get jailed or killed...
