I had the same thought, but your average hate-fueled vigilante won't make the distinction, or care. To him, there's no difference between raping babies and having 'Actual Sexual Contact' with a 17 year old. But more acts of self defense might make people think twice before attacking someone who find himself on the SOR. Who knows, maybe if enough of them are hurt, it might even lead to changes in the laws. No one is interested in protecting RSO's, but maybe protecting vigilantes will be a priority?
