A random search to the top of my head reveals, with half-spoilers:
The Young One, USA-indie, 1955 or so. Halfway between Jodie Foster's Nell and Lyne's version of Lolita.
L'enfant d'eau (literally, "The Water Child"), Canada, 1995. Halfway between I am Sam and The Blue Lagoon.
Laurin, Germany, 1985 or so. Halfway between Psycho and Pups.
Angyali üdvözlet (usually rendered as "Annunciation"), Hungary, 1987 or so. If I had to describe it without giving away the plot, I'd say halfway between The Ten Commandments and Matrix, but probably that tells more about me than about the movie.
La edad de la inocencia (literally, "The Age of Innocence"), Mexico, 1962. Kind of a Miracle on 34th Street, adapted to LatAm style.
