In times past, paedophilia was viewed as fairly normal (to a point) and so no real "deal" was made out of it until modern times.
People were marrying 9yos in the States a little more than 100 years ago.
Hindus still marry girls who are very young (Oprah knows).
European history is replete with kings and commonfolk who married minors.
Some Catholic saints married what would be called minors.
Arabs have married their children off for centuries.
Jewish tradition allowed a girl to get married after her bat Mitzvah.
Tertullian noted that even barbarians allowed girls to get married after as early as twelve.
Which is to say nothing of the Greeks and Romans with their penchant for children (props to Dante for pointing out the story of Eros and Psyche).
Ancient Egyptian King Tutankhamen even married his older sister.
Who knows, maybe even Eve was created from Adam's rib in the form of a little girl?
That would certainly seem to explain why so many men seem to prefer younger women and, while they would not soon confess it, have a sort of guilty pleasure in the "hawtness" of teenagers (viz. Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Britney) and some prepubescents (i.e., Olsen twins, Dakota Fanning, [the girl that played Hermoine in Harry Potter, etc.).

Therein lies the flaw to your theory.

Childophilia has been around since man has been recording history and earlier.
Kidosexuality has existed since men (and women too perhaps) had breath, and it is no secret.

If anything, paedophilia can be:

a. A soon to be victim of "evolution" (I don't believe in evolution, but for the sake of argument...), and the more evolved are merely trying to complete the natural selection process by wiping us out.

b. Proof that humanity is degenerating and the degenerated are jealous of we who remind them of a more noble past.

I prefer 'b', of course, but I'm a bit biased.

Anyway, enjoy.
