Mom, Dad, or name

Hey

What does everyone think of kids calling their parents by their first names instead of Mom or Dad.

I have two friends that do this, and it occured to me today when I was hanging out with one of them that it might be a neat question to ask girl-chat, with the many different opinions on parenting and what not.

I think it's kinda cool, I mean if I had kids myself, they could probably call me whatever they wanted...well not ANYTHING they wanted, but I find calling parents by their actual names to be kinda an interesting thing.

How bout everyone else?

Do you all call your parents Mom and Dad, and what do your own kids call you if you have any?
