on the subject of comedy, an article in the same newspaper (title above - my question mark)), refers to jimmy carr ⚠️ ↗ who has built an entire career on being able to execute cruel jokes...but even fans will be shocked by some of the targets in his new live DVD.

at one point he singles out a 14-year-old fan and calls him "mummy's little bender". then he turns to another family : "would you have sex with your dad to save your mum's life?" he askes the son.

"i find it bizarre that people bring their kids along to see me and don't walk out after 10 minutes", carr says.

"do i feel guilty about taking the p**s? not even for a second. i wouldn't change and do a family-friendly show either...carr believes the best comedy lies in the least-funny subjects : "kiddy fiddlers, famine, horrendous things that depress everyone..."

[i've never seen his routine so can't comment.]
