Most of the reader comments make me sad, but then theres this:


Surely there must be, logically, differentiation made between persons who abuse children and persons (yes, perhaps sometimes unpleasant, sinful etc) who merely look at pictures on a computer or TV, especially when they have not paid for them (which, arguably, might encourage actual abuse). These laws have created a large class of new "criminals" who did not exist until a few years ago. If I look at a picture of, say, a murder, am I thereby to be treated almost as a murderer? It makes no sense. Please use Poirot's "little grey cells", at least occasionally!
