Thank you for a very kind and supportive post, Blackmyheart. I agree that even regularly open-minded people need an extra 'push' (as you put it) to be open-minded on this particular subject. But I want her to be cool with my entire world...the genuine pedophile world is not a scary place, like the media would have you believe...there are a lot of kind folks here and the most open-minded people I have ever met are part of this community. I'm not going to give up on her...she is too special to me for me to do that. I'm not going to bring up the subject again for a while, but as smart as she is (she's a brilliant artist) and as kind as she is, I believe that she can be made to see the MAA side of the story in time.
