It might be Pedobear's failure to announce a running mate that cost him the election.

Now I know that it's impossible to pick one little girl without causing potential jealousy among her friends; so I think that Pedobear needs to go another route.

I say that he should run with Cthulhu. Cthulhu has some experience on the campaign trail. And, when the stars return again to their rightful place and the Universe is once-again hostile to human life he will be qualified to ascend to the Presidency.
