Agreed, but I don't think that Australia's anti attitude comes from the US. Australia and the UK seem to be even more anti than the US, so you can't blame that on the US. Now if you were talking about say a Brazilian woman who had this attitude, I'd agree that she probably picked it up from American cultural influence, but being anti is a part of Australian culture, just as it is with British, Canadian, and American culture.
