I'd suggest opening to Jenny with "If you had an 18 year old son, and I found him attractive, how would you feel about that?"
and then you can probably go with it from there. It's far enough in the realm of fantasy she won't suspect you're attracted to her daughter, but it also puts the idea in her mind that you're maybe not quite straight.
