Re: A 13F seeking to die

I have, and have had, many friends with a disease called cystic fibrosis, which affects the lungs and pancreas, and secondarily can affect other systems. It leads to death, and even with a lung transplant, death comes pretty quickly. It's horrid to have to deal with an acquaintance making the decision to let a disease take them, but no one can completely be in the shoes of somebody like that. I'm not sure what to say, except that I've experienced this decision as a friend of someone who has made a similar decision. If the girl in question is OK with her decision, then kudos to those around her that respect it.

That said, it still doesn't take the magnitude of her decision away. Good wishes to her and her family and friends. Lovely girl.
