We are the only group of individuals left that can be treated in this manner.
Even with your amendment, I am not that optimistic. I am fully convinced that we'll find someone to hate and prosecute.
(I have previously proposed the lactose-intolerant, because I hate how their pseudo milk tastes)
Going by the logic of my orientation being caused by my past history, I would counter that many Lesbian Women have been abused by Men in the past: Is it therefore fair to argue that their orientation also shares a pathological basis?
That is all because of the assumptions of "default" normality.
Many women without adjectives have been abused by men in the past. However, 1) while some have said that abuse by men causes lesbianism, nobody has said that abuse by men causes female heterosexuality and 2) if a lesbian thinks her orientation is abnormal or pathological (notice they're not the same), or if someone of whichever demographic believes lesbianism to be abnormal or pathological, they are going to look for causes to blame. One of those can well be previous abuse by men. Otoh, as long as female heterosexuality is NOT considered abnormal or pathological, abuse by men will not be perceived as a "cause" for the orientation. (*)
Generally speaking, as long as paedophilia is not seen as a normal part of the enormous human orientational palette, there will be a search for "what went wrong?", even if whatever went "wrong" is proven to be equally or more present among the non-paed.
(*) Where I say "lesbianism" and "female heterosexuality" it should technically be understood as "teleiolesbianism" and "female teleioandrophilia", ie, to the exclusion of attraction to minors of either gender.
