Re: A very interesting article on pedophilia

It was interesting, maybe thought-provoking even, but sadly it was also kind of a mess. I can excuse is using the "wrong" definition of pedophile, though I would have expected a little better from something title "A Primer on Pedophilia". What I can't excuse is not sticking to a single definition throughout.

It made some good points, but it was hard to pick up an overall message, if there was one. The confusing, self-contradictory terminology was largely to blame, but style played a role too. I thought it was a bit flippant.

I got the impression the author could have expressed the points much more clearly in a carefully worded essay, but chose a writing style intended to be entertaining instead. It's a blog after all.
