The magistrate responded: "It can't be consensual if she's a 10 year-old girl." Regardless of how a person feels about the idea of having sexual relations with 10 y/o's, statements such as that are in the realm of Orwell's 1984. Pedophile or not, I can imaging plenty of situations where 10 y/o's would gladly consent to sexual relations. Don't take this as an endorsement by me of sex with minors. I'm just commenting that this is a fine example of sexual absolutism in action. CPE |
