Tor is hideously slow, any others?

Thanks for the advice, but using Vidalia and TorButton is hideously slow - a symptom of the network.

For NN stuff, is there a better solution? Anonymouse.org seems quite good, but I'm not sure whether it hides traffic from your ISP or not.

Basically looking for the best encrypted proxy solution out there :)
