As I said in another of my recent posts, just because I consider my offspring as my property does not imply that I am likely to abuse or destroy it. That would seem to me to be a pretty illogical thing to do, and surely you realise that too. It is just not logical to destroy property one has created or paid for. I have a tv, a stereo and a big bunch of Mozart cds right in front of me as I type this. I paid a lot of money for all that, but is it really all that logical for me to trash it all? No, it simply ISN'T. So you saying that the way I TREAT my property runs in contradiction to my private property position just doesn't add up. My house of cards still stands. If one owns something they tend to CARE for it, and that's why socialism doesn't work properly as a system.
