BL forums flourish while ours decay.

All the usual GL forums on the internet are gone or down for maintenance.

Ironically, the collection of Boy Love forums are still all operating at full throttle and seemingly increasing daily. Has anyone noticed this? Here is the evidence,

www.closencounters.net is now a placeholder.
www.crossroadsdebate.org closed October 2007
www.pedagora.com Is in french.
commonground.glgarden.org down for maintenance.
www.glgarden.org/index.htm contains no forum.
philia.ws is up, but all the email addresses are bouncing.

Now contrast this list of dead ends with this prolific list of BL sites who are open wide for business,

What is the deal, my fellow GLs? Where have all of you gone?

I sense a conspiracy going on, and I have my theories to explain it. One theory is that comcast and google are now working together to censor the internet. At the core of this conspiracy is the issue of the historical separation between the content providers and the ISPs. (Obviously, "Net Neutrality" is directly related to this.) American politicians, thinking that the free market can solve anything, want the content providers to collapse together with the ISPs and their physical data lines, both under the same umbrella. The result is full-blown control over censoring content, as they can now use the "private company" as a fix-all excuse.

(I'm sure someone replying here might mention VoA. I won't respond to that issue at this time. I plan to make a separate thread dedicated entirely to the issue of VoA and their particular problems. Provided I get worthy bites in this thread. )
