It's good movie, even if it is in black and white. I didn't follow the link in the earlier reply, but here is a very brief summary:

Alice is a 9 y/o girl, travelling in New York with her mother. They meet a guy (I don't remember his name), and to keep it brief, she leaves Alice with him, while she flies back to Germany. The guy then takes Alice (or more accurately, she takes him) on an adventure to get her home.

The interaction between the two is interesting. If you have a chance to see it, by all means do.
