What research? How is orientation identified?

What I do know is that exclusive boy lovers tend to be very, much more hardcore, passionate and proactive. Girl lovers can't be bothered with fighting for rights - perhaps we are too busy thinking about how pretty little girls are!

In my experience, the small pseudo-movements/support-communities calling themselves GL & BL give rise to levels of political activity roughly proportionate to their respective sizes. There are many recent examples of highly proactive GLs.
