Diss, maybe this has something to do with the way you explained it to her:

Yikes! It sounds like you're saying that's at least part of the reason why she's there: to titillate you! In other words, it sounds a bit arrogant on your part. No offence, I'm sure that's not how you meant it at all - but it could easily be taken that way. (Actually, I think that you were simply being over-analytical.)

I'd bet you'd have got a very different reaction if you'd used a bit of self-deprecation and a touch of romantic humour:

"With waitresses like that, I just can't help myself! She just blows my mind! If I keep on coming here, I'll not have a cent to my name... she is just... so beautiful..." - etc.

It sort of says the same thing - but elevates her instead of you.
