I hesitate to answer this one because I'm fairly new, but since no one else is responding to you...

I'm pretty sure it would be ok to discuss how such a thing has perhaps affected your life, as I know there are some posters here who have had similar altercations with such laws, and I'm pretty sure they have shared their stories to a certain extent...
