Bullying, selfishness, and look-ism aren't human-nature, they're animal-nature. We aren't born with manners; those are a by-product of civilization.

Its manners and a sense of justice which determine whether or not we live in a trash-stye, dominated by alpha-males and chasing after super-stimuli to the detriment of our health.

There's nothing PC about doing unto others. While I wouldn't frame this ethic as solely a religious one, many have viewed it as the core of their religion's sense of justice.

For Ghod's sake, don't deny beauty. But don't confuse the beautiful with the good, the just or the right.

And unless you're a paragon of human comeliness, you've probably been on the receiving end of the kind of injustice which comes when people behave like animals with regard to letting visual cues guide their morality.
