If an image goes to trial, and a British jury agree with the prosecution that it is indecent, it MUST be treated as COPINE 1 at the very least.

The fact that this is not some obscure image from god-knows-where undermines the "potential" in "potentially illegal". If it was illegal, someone would already have been actually prosecuted for it, or they would be right now moving against all retailers and all buyers in Britain.

You don't understand why people are prosecuted (consider accompanying circumstances for a starter) and wrongly assume that having not been prosecuted, it can not go to conviction.
