Your friend was probably mad beacuse she wasn't getting you attention because she was probably a dirty old hag. (j/k) but women are crazy like that. I have been married for 4 years and my wife is insane with other women she hates them all ugly, beautiful, young, old whatever. Best thing to do in those situations is to play along.

However, You could play the pansy card and be like...

"I am so sorry I offended you My dear. You are correct, I should be ashamed of myself! I need to deny my nature and try and look past her obvious attempt to gain the attraction of members of the opposite sex by wearing a revealing obviously sexy outfit.
I should treat the woman like the delicate flower that she is and admire her for her brains her heart and for being the beautiful complex enigma that is woman!

Or you could just tell her to "shut up and eat your tofu!"
