And there are ways to do it and they vary widely. This very week verdicts were reached that dropped all charges against the murderers of Jean Charles de Menezes in the UK and of Robert Dziekanski in Canada. But not all LEOs taser or shoot first... that is my point.

believe it or not, some shrinks actually honour that responsibility, and in my experience, such people are powerful and empowering allies and can make life a lot easier for a minor attracted person.

But then they are not fulfilling their role as final arbiters of normality, deciders, enforcers and sentencers of who belongs into Society and who doesn't. They might have the degree, but they sure aren't doing what they were supposed to. Which brings me back to what I told Humboldt - people that can help you understand yourself, deal with your problems, lend an ear, have existed since forever and will continue to exist, and people don't need a degree in Witch Hunting to be able or fit to do that, so why look for them in the first place is something that really escapes me...
