If you don't mind answering this question, what exactly is your history and/or credentials when it comes to the arts? You seem to have a deep insight into aesthetics and its role in times past and present. I quite like the way it 'paints' your perspective; I think this post was accurate in many regards.

As to your questions, if they were not themselves rhetorical, only time will tell. But I do believe that one of the many purposes of a new generation is to shake off the prejudices the old one, to bring new ideas and ways of living into the world. Some may inherit their parents' fear of child sexuality, but a great many more, I think, will overcome it--precisely because it was a hinderence to their own development as children, and contrary what felt natural to them. That experience may be what empowers them: to ensure that future generations do not suffer in that same way.
