I like the replies from Baldur and LGs..

I for one didn't read teen magazines, or womens magazines, and I doubt they would have made a difference to my body image if had.

For a young girl, the first person to reinforce how they feel as an attractive girl (regardless of inconsequential imperfections) is usually a father or another similar role model.

The breakdown of many families is very hard on girls in this respect. Even pretty girls can have low self esteem.
