VA judges find drawn CP illegal under PROTECT act

Didn't see anyone else post this. A man who earlier plead guilty to multiple counts of possessing child pornography (as well as drawn lolicon-style images) had his appeal rejected. The judges concluded that the PROTECT act didn't require that the image is of a minor who actually exists, which opens the floodgates for computer-generated and hand-drawn images to be considered CP under this law. Also, counts for possession of text descriptions of 'child sexual abuse' were upheld, making intergenerational fiction illegal. Of course, there are already precedents that even an image of a clothed child doing something vaguely sexual can be considered pornographic.

Even if a court may someday come to a rational conclusion regarding fabricated images/stories of children, that doesn't prevent prosecutors, sheriffs and judges from jailing/imprisoning/harassing Americans for this NOW. Darn common law system. There are a few sigpics here that I think would fall afoul of the Judges' interpretation of the PROTECT act, is GC going to change its sigpic rules?
