...I believe that harm has to be proven beyond all shadow of a doubt before someone can be prosecuted for a crime. Generally, with murder, physical assault, and genuine rape, it's quite easy to prove that someone was actually harmed. But when people start talking about "dangerous ideas" that might involve the possible abuse of a child at some point in the future, then this becomes muddled and they are clearly making an exercise in thought control. It's as if the very thought of intergenerational sex is considered an act of violence, as if thoughts are actually tangible things, and MAA's are not allowed to publicly feel the way they do. If they draw a picture or write a story that highlights their attraction, they are guilty of committing a criminal offense, simply because they offended the sensibilities of polite society. That is what it all boils down to.

Unfortunately, at the present time, people are too afraid to defend lolicon or anything that can be remotely considered CP on free speech grounds, out of fear of being labeled "soft on child abuse" or "promoting pedophilia." Add to that the extra fear that parents (particularly MAA's or teleiophiles with kids) have to face, as they have to worry that their kids will be taken from them by the police and the legions of politically correct social workers if they support anything that can be remotely construed as "supportive of sexual abuse of children" or "...pedophilia."
