My New Years Resolutions

Hey, Hibeki!! Glad to see you around the board again! I've been wondering where you were, and at one point I even thought you were avoiding me in the chat room, since you only seemed to come in there just after I left, or you departed just before I arrived. I thought we got along pretty well, though. I will try to make it into chat tonight and also spend the New Years with the crew here. I look forward to 2009!

As for my resolutions:

1) Get my GLG website back online. I need to talk to NFiH about this. A few people here told me that they were really inspired by that website, and from what Fayla said it would appear that teen telieophiles were particularly inspired by that site to seek their right to date older men, as well as the whole gamut of their civil rights. I really miss my GLG site and I want to get it back up again ASAP.

2) I hope to encourage GLG to once again put up websites of the members here. We had some great websites in the past and it's unfortunate that we seem to have lost interest in them, and that they were since taken offline, apparently due to lack of interest in updating them.

3) Get more stories done for the story drive. I know the story drive is offically over but, again, it generated some way cool stories and poetry so I'm trying to encourage a restoration of the story drive. I already completed a fifth chapter to Hero Imperfect and I await it being posted online.

4) Get closer to my family. This was last year's resolution, and I really plan to do it this year. My family is important to me.

5)Accomplish more things for the youth liberation movement. I am still quite active with youth liberation and in 2009 I am going to put more effort into doing my part to advance the civil rights of young people. After all, they deserve their rights, just like any other minority group, and their emancipation will be our emancipation.

6) I'm going to take some inspiration from Trucker and get myself more into shape. I have health problems that I am determined to make more headway into overcoming this year, and my goal is to be able to hit the gym and take off some pounds. I really want to look good for the young ladies, especially considering so many of them look absolutely stunning for us guys. After having a really beautiful young waitress serve me at the last restaurant I went to (and my friend didn't give me a hard time for giving her an extra big tip this time! She simply told me that I'm "Something else...") I am more determined than ever to get myself to be more attractive to them. If they can look beautiful for me then I can take some effort in looking more attractive to them. Don't get me wrong...I KNOW they aren't looking beautiful just for me, I meant it metaphorically, but my point is, many of these amazing young women get themselves to look beautiful for guys in general...the least we can do in return is make the same effort for them. If I ever want to have a young girlfriend (albeit of legal age) then I have to look as attractive as possible (I'm just average looking for a guy and I need to get in shape). The young waitress I saw at the restaurant looked somewhere between 18 and 21...the perfect age for me to date in real life!! I need to hit the treadmills, and this year I have a resolution to do it!

7) Work towards becoming published in real life. I have some short stories plus a novel that I hope to get published. I have quite a life outside of GC, and though I can't go into any detail about it here I do want to say that I have a resolution to be more active than before (though I was plenty active last year) and to do more writing, both on and off this board. I was recently disappointed that my writing ability seems to have diminished lately (though Iron Marxist has been picking up the slack for me a bit) and I need to work to get my writing ability back up to what it used to be. And that means, more practice, both with making posts here and elsewhere, with plans for more essays, more stories, and more poetry.
