Size discrimination (OT rant)

Lately watching TLC makes me angry as to how low networks will go to increase ratings. All day there's this obesity marathon that profiles people who are morbidly obese and their efforts to control or lose their weight. Now why do I have a problem with this considering I myself lost 100 pounds, exercise daily, and am mindful of what I put in my body? I could be wrong but the networks are just putting on another "freak show"; i.e. take a look at all these 1000 lb porkers, despite the messages of acceptance. Of course the "DAAAAMN!!" and lawlage is going to come from viewers, yet this ties into a bigger problem: size discrimination.

Overweight people have been a perpetual source of ridicule (I should know), and we have always been perceived as having low discipline, no ethics, and disgusting to be around. Nothing can be further from the truth. Some of the most outstanding and understanding people I know are obese, and my grandpa was one of them (RIP). Yet we as a society equate appearance with character, and as with pedophiles are always looking for someone or something to project hate towards even if there's no justification for it.

Honestly, obesity is UNHEALTHY. Diabetes, heart disease, and cancer are caused by eating copious amount of crappy foods. For me, either I had to lose weight or die before I'm 40. Plus my overeating was a result of depression and self-hatred for being attracted to LGs. There are emotional factors involved than just eating bad food 24/7. Regardless, I don't discriminate or regard people as lesser humans because of their size or any other physical factors, nor do I ridicule them. I can encourage and give advice, but never will I belittle people or put them on display for amusement just because of how they look.

And to the antis who have called me and other pedophiles fat slobs, based on your hypocritical viewpoints you have evident issues with projection so I wouldn't be surprised if some of you guys are morbidly obese. I can offer help if you want it - LOL!
