Hello everyone, I hope these last months have treated you well. I apologize for disappearing like that. I got caught up in life, and it was surprising how easy it was to unintentionally blow off GC. I feel like I live in two separate worlds. In the world of GC, you all know that I am a pedophile but not much else about me. In my other world, there are many people who know me well, but not one knows the truth about my sexual orientation. The lack of coincidence between these two worlds is remarkable. As my life outside of GC picked up speed, my life here seemed to inconsequentially drift away.

I am hoping to counter that change now. So, I am drifting back. Hopefully I will take more care not to lose this world again in the future. You guys truly do mean a lot to me, and you have helped me come to grips through many difficult times.

I guess to sum things up, I love you guys, I missed you, I am sorry that it happened, and I hope to do better in the future.

Alright, now that I am done with all the sappy stuff… Where did my voyage take me?

Well, first and foremost, it took me to unprecedented levels of work (not exactly exciting). I have always had busier periods in my life, but none have come close to what I experienced these last couple moths. I was consistently working 60-70 hours each week.

In addition to that, I was spending more time working on family and friend relationships than I typically have in the past. There are a lot of stories there, but they are going to have to wait until later (I spent much of the night trying to catch up on reading the GC archives and I don’t have the stamina to go in depth right now).

There were some wonderful GMs as well, which I will hopefully post here soon. For instance, I went to see Twilight. The movie was subpar, but I dragged my sister there on opening night and, as Dissy noted, the hordes of tween and teen girls made the experience more than worth it. I have also read my way through a good portion of the series (I am a third of the way through the fourth book). The series is certainly no literary masterpiece, but it does have its good points. For example, in the third book, one of the teenage werewolves falls in love with a two-year-old girl. I was surprised by how nonchalantly they dismissed that element of the story. It really made my day.

I think that does it for tonight ::Collapses from Exhaustion::. I am glad to be back.
