I think it's always been clear here that GC is primarily a support board and one for intellectual and philosphical discussion of what it's like to be a GLer in this society in this day and age. We discuss politics, ethics, and sociology regarding our situation in society as well as providing succor for those of us who are depressed or need some support from people who understand, but never do we break the laws. This forum has always maintained a stance that we do not break the laws even if many of us seek to change the laws in a legal and peaceful manner. This is also a place for us to discuss our special moments in social contact with girls (albeit those that are totally legal) as well as letting each other know about movies or celebrities that may be of interest to those of us who admire girls. Some of us are a bit more politically active than that, discussing ways to improve our standing in society and in defense of youth liberation and our eventual emancipation. As long as I have been here (eight years now) GC has NEVER been vague in its stated purpose. I suspect that Audubon may have been either a police officer trying to gain brownie points with his LEA partners by getting this forum kicked off the Net or turned into a honeypot, or one of Oprah's slimey minions who believes all of the nonsense and lies about us routinely spouted by Oprah and other talk show hosts and was trying to collect dirt on us. I also think it's interesting that he wouldn't state his reasons for being here on the board (I don't remember him in LL, but I will be wary of him in there in the future) and also mighty interesting that he appeared around the same time as lioness, along with his hostility to the GC Committee who works so hard to keep this forum and its chat room fully legal.

People, if anyone here EVER asks you to engage in illegal activities with them, DO NOT go for it. There are many people who would like to get this board and others like it kicked off of cyberspace to silence our voices and to attempt to make us look bad in front of the general public and continue to have a bad image. DO NOT fall for it. Traveling overseas to have sex with underage people in (perhaps) more MAA-friendly nations is dangerous and is against the law if you are a citizen of the U.S. or U.K., and probably in other Western nations as well. Also, keep in mind the many vigilantes out there who are trying to convince the general public that we are a bunch of scumbags who will stop at nothing to get sexual access to kids in our respective AoA rather than human beings who simply have an unpopular sexual orientation. I think Audubon may have been intending to contact some of the more emotionally vulnerable among us, with the mistaken but all too common belief that pro-contact MAA's (who make up a great majority of the posters here) are actively engaging in illegal sexual contact with people under 18. This is what the anti's believe, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised (as I noted above) if Audubon was a plant from either PJ or AZ, or perhaps one of Oprah's boys, trying to get us all to agree to commit illegal actions or give the anti orgs more dirt to use on us. A word of advice: beware of any poster who frequently makes comments or implications that we aren't "real" MAA's on this board; I have heard that the MAA's on those secret forums consider those of us who do not break the law and engage in illegal sexual contact with minors to be contemptable. We and VoA remain the main voice for GLer's in society, and since we all obey that law even if we are working to change the laws this says a lot about us to the world at large.

It's no wonder that Audubon was so enamored of those "secret" MAA groups out there. This is yet another reason to stay clear of forums like that. If he was a real MAA who was honestly looking for people to go overseas with him then it's a terrible shame that the few bad apples in this community continue to make the rest of us look bad. The vast majority of us DO NOT break the law and this should make that point abundantly clear to the antis and LEO's out there.
