My gut reaction is not really. Here are some exceptions...

American Girl: Not interested in the dolls, per se, but I have watched a movie- based on the Samantha character- and wouldn't refuse owning a book or two. The only real purchase I'd ever even considered for American Girl was this really great looking statuette of Kit I found in one of those home decor stores. (I do like looking at the pictures though and their catalogs and site have some very pretty models.)

Living Dead Dolls: Honorable mention for me! Not sure if anyone's familiar with these. LDD's are hit or miss for me though. Some of them are very lame while others are downright awesome! I only own one, actually. Her name is Cookie, the girl scout. Wouldn't mind having Kitty the cheerleader though.

Hermione Granger: Yes, I have a Hermione doll. Bought it on a whim. (I gave her a guitar, a little, black plastic Jackson Stealth, just like the one I owned in high school. I really, really should've never sold that guitar!) Several Hermiones actually if you count the Lego figures.

Several randoms: For a small period of time a few years back I went through a phase of taking some old robot toys and subjecting them to a beheading. Then I'd take an appropriately sized little girl doll, pop off her head as well, somehow manage to attach it to the robot's body, and voila, custom GirlRobo action figure. I must've made, like, about ten of them. My favorite is still the first(I think I've got pictures of it somewhere online) and it's the only one I really still have.

Sari Sumdac: A character from Transformers: Animated. So far there looks to be no toy version of her, even in the foreseeable future. :( There's plenty of LG characters in Transformers and some of 'em have gotten figures, but Sari is the one I'd want standing on the computer desk!

If only Celebrator were still here. Funny guy and a huge doll collector.
