www.xxxxx.com/net/org has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code: -12263
AKA SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG ⚠️ ↗; it has nothing to do with TOR or Privoxy. I have no idea (except for a few vague guesses) why this occurs from time to time, but it is definitely not critical in any way. And if you are getting that pop-up you are not using an up-to-date version of Firefox; Firefox 3 has no pop-up but a whole error page with a slightly different message. Just click reload. When I try to save a page ("Web page, complete") Firefox sometimes opens a box and says: "Starting download". This starting seems to take an indefinitely long time, and when I check my disk later, nothing new has been saved there.
If this happens with Tor it may be because one of the servers in the Tor connection you are currently using is overloaded. Basically the same reason why sometimes pages seem to take ages to load (in such cases try switching to a "New Identity" in the Tor context menu). OTOH, I was always under the impression that "Save Page As" uses the browser cache; but the DTA add-on ⚠️ ↗ doesn't either, so there must be a reason for this.Surf safe;)
