Some people somewhere - I do not remember where - thought that this error message meant that Google was spying you. I did not believe such an inprobable explanation for a second. Good to know that the error message is harmless.

I was under the same impression. But it is not so.

In a message below you mention "Jonathon Greene's excellent Slang Dictionary". I was once a happy owner of the very same dictionary, but then one morning, a few years ago, I needed some money for a new pair of shoes or something like that... maybe I am not being honest here... and it was one of the many dictionaries that went into a plastic bag and were taken to the second-hand bookshop. I have slowly grown a new collection, but many important volumes are still missing, because I am poor. I know I will not sell any book in my new collection.
