I will tell you my two darkest secrets

The first one is... during my childhood, a few times I found myself outnumbered n-to-1 by female play-partners, usually cousins, sometimes cousins and their friends... I was forced to play with dolls. Either that or do Absolutely Nothing. And I have to say I really didn't like that. Really. It had no attractive at all for me. I wasn't a sporty type either; but I sure was a boy type - preferring action figures (yes, they're a type of doll, but you know what I mean) and cars and dirt and worms (sorry AXR)... But I really didn't understood at all what girls found in playing with dolls...

(Eventually, through several of the girls who made me realise I was a paed, I discovered what dolls are about. And I luv them now. What is more - I do think that the kind of segregation of play for children isn't right at all!! Yes of course, boys shouldn't be forced to play with dolls anymore than girls to play Space Invaders; but each should learn to play what the other plays too - partly, so they don't feel forced or picked on when they happen to be so outnumbered they have little choice {as I felt at times})

The second is... If I could afford it financially, and had enough room to get away socially... I'd buy doll after doll... hard heads and full plush alike - I sometimes just fall for them. And yes, I'd dress them cute, brush their hair, play with them and sleep with them the days my wife is moody.
