I actually played with barbie dolls in my childhood, but I don't like those now. I also used to have a fear of some dolls. (Curse you, Child's Play!) Interestingly enough, I played with them with a boy, not with girls. I didn't play with girls at all in my very early childhood. Well, that's not entirely true. I was always surrounded by girls...

The second is... If I could afford it financially, and had enough room to get away socially... I'd buy doll after doll... hard heads and full plush alike - I sometimes just fall for them. And yes, I'd dress them cute, brush their hair, play with them and sleep with them the days my wife is moody.

I would do this also, assuming I could find many dolls that I like. Well... maybe, since in that situation I could afford it, I guess it wouldn't be as much of a requirement that I particularly like them. As it is right now, I would have to totally like a doll before I purchase it.
