Problems (?) with expired certificates

I use a few sites to check my proxies, among others https://www.stilllistener.addr.com/checkpoint1/ .

Firefox tells me that the certificate of that site has recently expired.

The same with BoyChat.

Stilllistener's site cannot be dangerous, but what about BoyChat? What does it mean that the certificate has expired? Is my connection still encrypted? I am using Tor. I go to BC to read messages that are equally interesting to both girl lovers and boy lovers.
