Thanks for the response. I've never managed to have a LD myself but there are plenty of people who say they have. Then again, there are plenty of people who say they've been abducted by aliens so I guess claimed experiences aren't really a good barometer of reality.

What I did find more compelling was the research done by LaBerge in which subjects were given a specific blinking pattern they were to do once conscious in their dreams and they were able to complete it.

Personally I hope it's true as there's some things I'd dearly love to experience which could get me in trouble if I tried them in real life but could be done with impunity in a dream. Ooohh... wouldn't that get Stitches-cunt all hot under the collar. It'll be trying to control our dreams next.
