The quality of music is a very opinionated subject. There are no rights or wrongs and you know what? Someone could give my favorite band the harshest insult ever and as long as it were in reference to the music I'd shrug it off. As far as I'm concerned they still kick ass! :D

BTW, I liked this comment from qtns2di4- the singing is horrible. That said, horrible singing from a random LG is many times better than average singing from a random adult.

My opinion here- the greatest vocalist in the world? Of course not. But I still find something about her voice very appealing. If you wanna talk on a purely technical level- she's a novice. (Given her age, lack of experience can help support this criticism.) But is that really why we listen to music?

I had a music professor once compare Celine Dion to Willie Nelson. (Brilliant analogy to this point! Even if you're like me and don't like either...) Celine Dion's voice is a finely honed, practiced instrument. (She has perfect pitch, flawless vibrato, at least three octaves, etc.) Willie Nelson? Not so much. My teacher's bottom line was, "I'd rather listen to Willie." Still a matter of opinion, yeah, but coming from someone who teaches the subject at university level.

Joey Ramone is no José Carreras. He doesn't have to be.
