PJ also used 'hard drive failure' excuse in FL

During a hearing in Flagler Beach, Fla. on 25 Sept., 2008, defense attorneys revealed that Perverted-Justice refused to comply with a judge's order to allow an expert to examine its computer.

So now we have cases in two states where PJ/XVE used the "hard drive failure" excuse to prevent outside scrutiny of their computer work.

By the way, what ever happened to their partners in all this, NBC's increasingly controversial To Catch A Predator? Their credibility seems to be on a downward slide as well, as airings of new episodes have become more infrequent (repeats of old TCAP's have also all but disappeared from sister channel MSNBC -- apparently replaced by endless prison-scare documentaries under the Lockup brand).
