A possible backfire scenario......

By popular media standards, pedophiles, infantophiles and ephebophiles
are the worst types of subversives, insurrectionists,'radicals' and threats to 'our' society in existence. (Of course, most 'child savers' couldn't tell the difference, definition wise, between an ephebophile or infantophile and a gerontophile or door knob, but that's beside the point....)
Youth have always been attracted to the forbidden fruit, the fresh, the revolutionary elements in society. As proof of this, witness the number of teen Satanists, the rock and roll culture and more recently the hip hop genre. Put bluntly, teens and adolescents will do whatever it takes to piss off the old man or old woman.
I often wonder if, by demonizing us, the anti's are basically giving young people yet another avenue to distance themselves from their parents and our repressive society in general.
Let's face it: Today's young people are being raised by parents who cheered when Ozzy bit the head off the bat and when Jim Morrison (supposedly)
exposed himself on stage and got arrested. Simple Woodstock style 'rebellion' just doesn't cut it anymore. On the other hand, if the young folks of today REALLY want to piss off their pseudo-'progressive' parents, they will befriend and defend pedophiles (and alleged 'pedophiles') Talk about a way to REALLY rock the boat!
Of course, the anti crowd will bitch and whine that pedophilia isn't "cool"; its just "wrong!!!!" I say, bring it on, bitches! The more you preach, teach, lecture, 'explain' and sermonize that it is 'ok'/acceptable for young people to rebel in 'safe' ways (i.e., by listening to rap, wearing hip hop clothes and moshing) but that its 'wrong', 'sinful' and/or
'dangerous' to associate w/ 'pedophiles', the more appealing you make us to your daughters, sisters, nieces and grand daughters.
Think about it, any anti's who happen to be reading this: When your parents told you that heavy metal/acid rock/pot/drinking was 'wrong', did YOU listen ?? Case closed! ;)
