Motel pool GM

I'm currently driving across the country, staying in different motels each night. I try to make sure there is a pool wherever I stay. Tonight at the pool, there was an extended family of a mother, her cousin (an adult), and her two kids (girl 7, boy 14). For the second night in a row, I've encountered very talkative 7 year olds. Her brother almost ruined it early by dragging her away and telling her she shouldn't talk to me (a stranger), but the mother' cousin told her it was okay. So we talked, she showed how she could do flips off the side of the pool, and we just had a good time together.

Suddenly, she went running to the side of the pool, got out and ran to her mother. She was losing one of her front teeth! After a few minutes, she had pulled it out, and stayed out of the pool until the bleeding stopped. Then she came back in the pool and showed me where her tooth had been. We spent more time together in the pool, and even her brother became less hostile to me. I also made sure I spent time talking to the cousin. It was great to spend time with the girl, and be there to share a big moment in her life.
