SPOILER ALERT: don’t read this post if you haven’t seen the movie

This is the movie with the infamous rape scene of Dakota Fanning. It took me just less than 2 hours to download this movie from a torrent site (man, that’s fast).

First of all, I think the main character (Dakota Fanning) is full of contradictions. When the movie starts, I think she wants to see a boy’s penis, but when he shows her, she doesn’t say absolutely anything about his thingy.

So from the beginning we see that she is getting sexually aware and interested.

Then, during the movie, she’s showing skin all the time. She lifts her dress; she shows her panties, etc without any reason whatsoever. One would think that she does that because she is sexually innocent but at the beginning of the movie, we have been shown that she is not.

The rape scene is so unrealistic!!! This girl is in almost a dark room in front of a boy who is almost a man. For some tickets, he indirectly asks her to get rid of her dress so that she remains in her panties. At that moment, a real 12yo girl would run as fast as she could when hearing that proposition. But then, she undresses, and then the boy asks her to get complete nude, and then she does it. I’m sorry but that doesn’t make any sense to me because the boy didn’t use any force to undress Dakota just to rape her.

So in conclusion, if the director wanted to show the negative effects of sexual abuse, why show Dakota in panties or lifting her dress in almost all the movie? I don’t get that. This movie is full of contradictions.
One other thing, I personally don’t find Dakota attractive. She’s way too skinny and I find girls scary with too much blue in her eyes.
