And seriously guys, like Minstrel said, find me ONE case of actual rape on a child that age by an adult man where hard evidence would be lacking. That is simply physically impossible. No hard evidence means either it didn't happen, or it was consensual (and thus gentle enough not to leave evidence).

The reason why he got such a sweet deal because the
lack of testimony and the lack of evidence. If there
was evidence he would be going to prison for a long time,
which would be his DNA. Even if she had signs of sexual
contact without testimony or his DNA then the case
could go in his favor. If there was DNA it would've
been long gone anyway since it wasn't reported right
after the act.

When it comes to sex crimes if there's good hard evidence
you will be going to prison. If there is none without
reliable eyewitness testimony you go free. So why did he
take a plea if he was innocent? He could walk and be done
with it if he was acquitted. Was he worried that he may be
found guilty if it went to trial?

As for the case I was just reporting it from what I read. I
don't really care what happened because I wasn't there and
it's reported in the usual anti biased theme. But I'm not
going to pretend it was some lovey dovey foundling or a hard
core rape because I don't know. The only people who know for sure
are the people who were involved. The 2 kids and the guy.
