Most guys would take a plea deal for a "pedophilia" case. Everyone knows that even if you're innocent, you don't have a fair trial anyway, and that even if you're acquitted, you're always guilty in the eyes of public opinion. And at 64 he can be pretty intimidated by all of the above more than a 20yo. It is ALWAYS the most rational course of action to deal. And defence lawyers know all of this too, so they are also likely to advice it.






Me, in the sake of activism, would plead guilty without a deal even if I was innocent, but 99% people are rational, unlike me.
