The thing is, he himself was a Jew and benefited greatly from the Jew business networks of the Northeast. A disproportionately high number of his clients were Jews too. Therefore, it is a Jew-to-Jew treason like not experienced since Biblical times. Today, there are Jews who, in all seriousness, compare him to the Nazis or the Palestinians. He certainly disappeared more Jewish money than anyone since 1945
I can assure you this case would be much different, culturally, if either he or the majority of his clients, were not Jewish. Even if, yeah, it shouldn't be so.
