I do not understand the need/desire to use proxies/TOR to access Girl Chat in light of the fact that so many people register with the same nick/e-mail that they use for all their real life activities, which is FAR more dangerous that NOT using a proxy.

(I am not talking about you specifically of course.)

For the first three months that I lurked at Girl Chat I used no proxy at all, and I am still here, and still unknown to all the antis / PJers / LEA / other idiots out there.

Imho, people place too much emphasis on proxies, and too little on common sense.

Of course, all the above applies to visiting established pro-CL websites. If you are visiting hostile or unknown sites then use of a proxy is highly recommended.
